MOTD – SMOKEY EYES & BERRY LIPS

Hello beauty-fam. A lovely Tuesday from me to you. I hope you are having a stress-free day in spite of the really hot weather; like my friend would say “this heat can fry someone’s intestines” *whew*.

I was so bored at home yesterday doing nothing all day, considering that my school is now on its semester break. And so boredom led me to playing with some colors on my face, lol. I didn’t know what to call it, hence the name smokey eyes and berry lips.

PRODUCT REVIEW: MILK OF MAGNESIA

Hey lovelies. Hope you had a wonderful vals’ day and got loads of gifts.

Now to the business of the day. Say goodbye to an oily skin and hello to a dry, matte skin. I know I’ve carried LAST with this too but then i thought “some girls might not know about this”.

Imagine starting your day looking great in the morning, with a nicely made up face and then looking like something else hours later, with the oil on your face almost dripping off; you get what I mean, yea?

Well, I bring to you Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia a.k.a. mistmag. Yep, you read that right.

Source

What Phillip’s Says:
It is used to relieve occasional constipation and also to relieve symptoms caused by heartburn, upset stomach, or indigestion.
For constipation, magnesium hydroxide works by increasing the water content and volume of stool, which helps produce a bowel movement.

What Doctors Say:
Originally appointed by doctors to relieve constipation and other gastro-intestinal issues, now doctors are recommending milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide)for oily
skin care. This inexpensive product may be a simple solution for those looking for a remedy to reduce the shiny appearance of oily skin.

What I Think:
Milk of Magnesia is the best, for its low rate, mattifying primer there is. It keeps the face matte all day in any form of weather. Good thing is that it is not harmful to the skin. It tightens your pores, reduces and prevents acne.

How To Use:
*Wash/cleanse your face and dry.
*Apply the milk of magnesia to your face using your fingers or cotton balls
*Leave it to dry, creating a white substance on your face.
*Apply your makeup.

Where To Get It From:
Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia can be gotten from any drugstore and it is very affordable.

Try it, would you, and let me know what you think.

Until later, ciao :*
