PRODUCTS REVIEW: MILANI & TINT COSMETICS

Happy Easter ladies!!! It’s been a really long long time. How have you been? Hope you had a wonderful time with your folks.

I had a mini-haul last week, got me some lippies (I always feel accomplished when I buy anything makeup, no matter how small, lol), and so today’s review will be on the products I got.

*Ruby Ruby: This is a product of Tint Cosmetics and is a perfect dupe for Mac’s Ruby Woo. It is matte and applies easily.

*Sweet Nectar: This is a product of Milani Cosmetics and is orange in color. I don’t use this often, but it works well on both dark and light skin.

*Sangria: Product of Milani. I absolutely love this; though nude does it for me usually, this particular dark color catches my fancy.

*Naturally Chic: A product of milani, this lipstick is nude in color with pink undertones.

*Malinda: A product of Tint Cosmetics, this lipstick is dry to the touch and also applies easily.

These lipsticks are long-lasting and apply easily with or without lip moisturizing. However, note that moisturizing your lip before application gives a wet finish.

Price:
Tint lipsticks – #3500
Milani lipsticks – #1500

Where to get:
I got these from a friend. If you’re in interested in getting any of them or more, contact me via mail: uforotom@gmail.com.

AYO’S MAKEOVER

Halos beautiful people. How is it going?

Today’s post is yet another makeover post. It will be a short one; I’ll just give you a list of products I made use of.

Ayo is a very close friend of mine who wanted a simple look, as she didn’t know what to wear for her event as at this morning. So we decided to play it safe, not putting in so much colors since it could cause a contrast problem. It was done in a rush, hence no highlighting and contouring, just a simple face-beat.

PRODUCTS USED

Face:
*Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia
*La Pro Girl Concealer in Beautiful Bronze
*Mary-kay foundation in 607
*Milani mienrals compact powder in deep
*Sleek 3-in-1 blush

Eyes:
*Jordana pencil in dark brown.
*Mary-kay eyeshadow primer
*Eyeliner gel
*Milani secret-cover concealer cream in tan
*Each color eyeshadow in eggshell, dusty brown and white (I’m beginning to love this combo)
*Sleek 2-in-1 mascara and eyeliner
*Ardell lashes

*Wet ‘n’ wild lipstick in pink

She has just the perfect pout and smile

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS LOOK? WILL YOU ROCK IT TO AN EVENT, YAY OR NAY?

PRODUCT REVIEW: LA GIRL PRO CONCEAL

Hello beauties. A lovely Sunday to you all. How did your week go? Mine was absolutely awesome and I’ve been so excited about. I’ll probably definitely tell you at the end, but first, read my review :D.

Today I’ll be a doing a review on a product I got few weeks back. I read a review about it on Chloe’s Makeover, was hooked and decided I was going to get me some.

What LA Girl says:

Crease-resistant, opaque coverage in a creamy yet lightweight texture. The long-wearing formula camouflages darkness under the eyes, redness and skin imperfections. Provides complete, natural-looking coverage, evens skin tone, covers dark circles and minimizes fine lines around the eyes.

What I Think:
This concealer is as the maker says it is. It doesn’t crease, very light-weight, isn’t one bit cakey and it feels so natural. It comes with a brush applicator which you can use to apply directly on your face, or as you see fit.

Swatches
From top to bottom:
*Dark cocoa
*Toffee
*Beautiful bronze

Where To Get It From:
You can get it from any makeup store, even online stores. I got mine from MyMakeupNG for just #1200.

HAVE YOU TRIED THIS PRODUCT? LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF IT.

Oh and before I forget to tell y’all what has been making so excited. I decided some time last year to go natural and had been transitioning for a while (6months to be exact). I finally did my big chop this past weekend and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it (this excitement is eating me up).
