RECYCLING OLD MAKEUP TOOLS | THE MASCARA WAND

Source
Have you ever gotten tired of using mascara and decided to throw it away just because:
*you felt it had been used for too long,
*it got really clumpy and unusable,
*it got dry??

It hasn’t happened to just you; I’ve been a victim too, until my eyes became open, that is. Rather than throwing away your mascara every time you get tired of it, you can put it to use again.

Start off this way:
1.   Dispose the old mascara tube.
2.   Clean off excess mascara on the wand with an old cloth.
3.   Soak the wand in warm water for about 10 minutes. This will make washing easier.
4.   Wash the wand with a liquid wash, and rinse with warm water.
5.   Leave it to dry.

Here’s how to re-use the old wand:
1.   Use it as a brush to put your brows in place when applying eyebrow pencils or powder.
2.   Use as a replacement for the new mascara wand that you do not like.
3.   Use to coat your eyelashes with castor oil to help it grow (this I just learnt and intend to try out).
4.   Use it to comb through your eyelashes after applying mascara in order to get rid of clumps.

P.S:  Nominations for the 2014 Nigerian Blog Awards have started. Please nominate this blog as the “Best Beauty Blog” and “Best New Blog”. Just follow these simple instructions:

4.  Enter senabrushover.com in the “Best Beauty Blog” and “Best New Blog” categories.
5.   Submit.
6.   A link will be sent to your email address to confirm submission. Do click on the link.
And that’s it. Thanks guys :*
